The goods and services below may not be advertised on berape. Ads containing them are rejected automatically or reviewed by moderators, and accounts that repeatedly break the rules are blocked. This list is a summary, not legal advice; the regulations named are what count.
Narcotics and psychotropics
Crystal meth, cannabis, ecstasy, cocaine, synthetic cannabinoids and the like, including seeds and paraphernalia.

Firearms, ammunition and explosives
Firearms (including home-made and modified ones), ammunition, gunpowder, grenades, dynamite and fish bombs.

Airsoft guns, air rifles and replica weapons
Only allowed with a permit. Ads are reviewed by moderators and may be rejected.

Bladed weapons
Swords, sickles (celurit), daggers, tactical folding knives and the like. Kitchen knives, machetes and work/farm tools are allowed.

Firecrackers and fireworks
Firecrackers are prohibited; fireworks only from licensed sellers.

Protected wildlife and their parts
Protected animals alive or dead, taxidermy and body parts (ivory, horn, scales, turtle eggs, skins). Animals from licensed breeding only with valid documents and after review.

Protected plants and coral
Pitcher plants, rafflesia, certain wild orchids, agarwood and coral taken from the wild.

Prescription drugs, abortion pills and unregistered medicine
Prescription and psychotropic drugs only through pharmacies with a prescription. Abortion pills are prohibited. Medicine, herbal remedies and cosmetics need BPOM registration.

Alcoholic drinks
Alcoholic drinks may not be sold online, including bootleg and traditional alcoholic drinks.

Cigarettes, tobacco and e-cigarettes (vapes)
May not be sold through websites/apps without age verification or through social media. berape has no age verification.

Pornography and sexual services
Pornographic content, prostitution, "open BO", massages with extras, sex video calls and the like.

Gambling
Online gambling, slots, togel lottery, casino, gambling-app chips, cockfighting and betting.

Personal data, bank accounts and ID documents
Buying or selling bank accounts, e-wallets, ID cards (KTP/KK), ID numbers, phone number databases or customer data.

Forged documents and counterfeit money
Forged diplomas, ID cards, driving licences, vehicle papers or certificates, "SIM tembak" services and counterfeit money.

Hacking, carding and eavesdropping
Account hacking services, WhatsApp eavesdropping, carding, stolen credit card data, malware.

Organs, babies and human trafficking
Selling organs or body tissue, babies, and illegal labour placement.

Counterfeits (KW) and trademark infringement
Copies of branded goods (KW, replica, mirror) and pirated goods. Ads are reviewed.

Vehicles and goods without papers (suspected stolen)
Motorbikes/cars without valid papers (bodong, no BPKB/STNK), repossessed units without papers. Ads are reviewed.

Phones and devices with unregistered IMEI
Grey-market phones (BM/ex-inter) without registered IMEI and IMEI unlock services. Ads are reviewed.

Illegal loans and fraudulent investments
Online loans without an OJK licence, guaranteed profits, trading robots and money games.

Mercury, cyanide, potassium compounds for fishing and other hazardous chemicals.
